Mel- our Customer Experience Coordinator - with Eli

Mel, our Customer Service Coordinator, with EliMy name is Mel and I am the Customer Experience Coordinator at Camp Paws. My husband and I adore our Toy Poodle named Lucy who thinks she is a Ragdoll cat just like Eli whom I am pictured with and Wesley.

I am grateful to have experience caring for cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, birds, turtles, mice and lizards throughout my life, along with the opportunity to provide a rescue shelter for cats and kittens.

This experience shapes my enthusiasm to assist our wonderful clients in securing the individualised care they seek for their pets. Seeing pets thrive knowing their human parents have peace of mind is a reward in itself and I am so excited to assist all of your wonderful fur families.

Angie with her Border Collie, Bonnie

I have been an animal lover my whole life and love meeting new pups, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, you name it! I have had pets from the moment I could walk and love to wake up to a cuddle and a play.

I currently have a cat (Nala) and a dog (Bonnie) who are a little spoiled and honestly loved more than my own human family.

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Science and aspire to be a vet in the future. A career in animal welfare is my dream and working at Camp Paws is the first step.

Caring for animals brings me such joy and I would love to get to know you and your pets!

Kate and Her Dynamic Dog-Caring Trio: Charlie, Alfie & Harvey

Hi, I’m Kate and together with Charlie, Alfie and Harvey, we love welcoming furry guests into our home.

Dogs staying with us become part of the family. Whether it’s a game of fetch in the yard, cuddles on the couch or an adventure outdoors, I love making sure every dog feels safe, happy and included during their stay.

Creating a genuine home-away-from-home environment is something I’m passionate about. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I take the time to help them settle in and feel comfortable.

I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members.

I have extensive experience with horses, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, goats, alpacas and turtles, and enjoy getting to know the unique personalities of each animal I care for.

Horses are my particular passion and I have two of my own, along with a Certificate II in Equine Studies.  I recently completed my Bachelor's degree and have been part of the Camp Paws team for the past year.

Getting to know and care for such a diverse range of animals is a genuine joy and privilege.

Amitie with two of her best buddies

Amitie with two of her best buddiesHi, my name is Amitie. I'm a graduating student and proud owner of two over indulged fur babies. I was born into a family with pets; over the years, we've had dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits. I also have experience pet sitting for pups, cats, piggies and reptiles.

I have experience volunteering at Animal Aid Coldstream, where I worked in their boarding facilities for a year and a half. There I interacted with a huge variety of animals with differing personalities, behaviours and needs. I know the importance of TLC and giving each pet the attention they need.

I cannot imagine a life without animals. I love working for Camp Paws and can't wait to get to know your fur - or feather, or scaley - baby! Rest assured they will get lots of attention and affection.

Angela and Ned the donkey

Angela and Ned the donkey

Hi, my name is Angela and I have been pet sitting for over 20 years. Mostly in Melbourne and Sydney and when I lived overseas, I was pet and  house sitting in the UK Canada and Cyprus.

I have always been considered reliable and trustworthy and I enjoy being with animals for a number of reasons. I like seeing a dog run, jump, swim, sniff out anything ‘interesting’. A cat has the ability to climb, leap and run with incredible agility. Animals are inquisitive and very trusting and I like that about them. I am happy when they trust me as I feel they sense a ‘camaraderie’. That’s an excellent sign.

I look forward to building that friendship with your pets at Camp Paws!

Casey with Finnegan the Dachshund

I live in Diamond Creek with my husband and two young Sons and have access to an ‘off lead’ oval and walking trail, which is directly at the back of my garden!

I offer dog walking, home visits and I also care for smaller pups in my home. I’d love to help you by caring for your pets whilst you’re away.

I look forward to meeting you soon.

We have a lovely home with a large garden where visiting dogs can safely explore, play and relax.

Kim with her King Charles Spaniel, Sam, and bunnies

Hi, I’m Kim. I live in Kilsyth South with my husband Pete, our toddler and King Charles Cavalier, Sam.

Sam loves a snuggle, enjoys his walks and is very used to having doggy friends holiday with us. He enjoys playing with visiting dogs but is also happy to give them space when needed. Our toddler has grown up around animals and their safety is always our priority.

We have a secure backyard and dog door so dogs can move freely while we're home. My husband works from home two days a week and I work part time, so there is usually someone around during the day.

Maria with one of her house guests
Maria with one of her house guestsHi, I’m Maria and I have loved animals all my life.

I’ve been fortunate to share my life with many dogs and cats over the years and still can’t resist stopping to pat every dog I meet. I also regularly care for friends’ pets. I work independently as a consultant, which means I spend much of my time at home.

Living in Hurstbridge, I enjoy the local walking trails and parks and would love to share those adventures with your dog. My townhouse has a fully fenced backyard, a large balcony and plenty of room for pets to relax and play.

I offer sleepovers, dog walks, doggy day care and home visits, and I’m always happy to tailor my services to suit you and your pet.

Bev and her gorgeous Bella

Bev with Bella

Hi, I'm Bev and this is my 3yr Black lab Bella. Originally from the UK, my husband and I, along with Bella, have recently moved to Melbourne from NZ. We both love animals and have owned many pets over 25 yrs, but mostly dogs and cats.

In the UK I worked for Labrador Rescue South East and volunteered at Dogwatch Sanctuary Trust in Christchurch. There were lots of sad stories when families had to give their pets up for adoption, but it was reassuring to see these wonderful pups eventually find their forever homes.

I’m really happy to have joined Camp Paws and am available to care for your pets in your home whilst you are away. I can also take small/ medium pups for walks and facilitate drop in visits for smaller pets such as cats, birds and reptiles.

Sarah with her favourite guinea pig

Sarah with Dixy her Border Collie

Hi, I'm Sarah. I live in Diamond Creek and have called the area home for most of my life.

Over the years I've owned and cared for a number of dogs and have also fostered dogs, which I found incredibly rewarding. Fostering dogs and helping them settle into loving homes was incredibly rewarding.

My last dog, Pandi, was a much-loved Labrador who taught me a great deal about resilience, patience and care. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles and smaller animals. The services I offer include Pet Hosting, Dog Walking, Home Visits and Pet & House Sitting.

I look forward to meeting you and caring for your pets.
